Beehive

Picture
Beehive

Songs written over a decade of journeys on the road, and recorded live inside a Beehive Studio. Beehive is an internationally acclaimed ensemble bringing together musicians from New Zealand, Czechia, Sweden and France. Created by New Zealand composer and multi-instrumentalist Jono Heyes, the project draws inspiration from his encounters, stories and musical traditions gathered across continents.

Blending folk, jazz, chamber music and global influences, Beehive's music travels from the steppes of Mongolia to the rhythms of Cuba, woven together through original compositions and a distinctive acoustic sound.
